Few things I love...

~Gaping at the rain falling aimless, wander stricken, lustfully embracing the parched tar.
~Waving out at kids screaming, screeching out of the school bus, pretty little moons peeping out of grilled windows.
~Standing at the footboard of the local train, sticking my face out, feeling the sea breeze hit my face. Watching the train change its tracks, glistening in the sun.
~Watching the city brimming with tiny lights while the train leaves VT, catching glimpse of the lonely head of Victoria terminus growing distant. Dark outline of Rajabhai towers looming over south Mumbai, standing lonely as history.
~Sauntering at Marine Drive, stretching my vision to the endless sea, inflating myself with pride when I embrace the vision of Bombay skyline. Falling in love with this city all over again.
~Staring at colourful boats, with tiny sails, going adrift kissing the waves.
~Sipping coffee perched on a water tank of RBI quarters and yapping vacuities with Sadaf.
~Walking along the footpath at Fountain, devouring the world of books, odd, even, old, torn, sepia pages containing the peculiar smell that grows over centuries.
~In wonderment contemplating over the expanse of art, hanging on the wall adjacent to Jehangir Art Gallery; art too exits in contrast, riches reside inside while beautiful poor hang outside.
~Lighting candle at the altar, sitting in recluse at the church, silence dwarfing me, the warmth of the altar glowing with candles seeping into my cold being.

…………..I breathe this city, I hold a romance with this city.
